From our engineers:  Twenty-nine years and we still help outdoor animals get clean drinking water in all seasons. The Maxpower Solar Sipper is the first Solar Sipper we manufactured in America under our patent. We still love it. So does the animal loving public which has supported it with thousands of purchased units. Years ago we even had the Solar Sipper tested by solar experts at University of Lowell and they concurred that we had an effective device. From time to time we get requests for a lost top or a replacement bowl from when a car accidently crushed the plastic. Some of these are parts orders for twenty year old Solar Sippers still in use.  We also learned that historically, farmers centuries ago used a similar practical warming principle to keep water ice free for their cattle in winter by using black paint on the tops of their water tanks.
